| CORINTHIA AQUINCUM HOTEL IN BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, GRANTED THE ’HUNGARIAN TOURISM QUALITY AWARD’ |

29th January, 2007 - The five-star Corinthia Aquincum Hotel and Spa in Budapest, Hungary, was presented with the ‘Hungarian Tourism Quality Award’ by Dr Peter Wolff, Chairman of the National Tourism Board of Hungary.
The winner of the award is selected by an independent committee of professionals from the hospitality industry. It is given to hotels and restaurants that have consistently proven their quality awareness and excellence in providing the best quality services and facilities to their guests.
Addressing the awards press conference held on 24th January at the famous Gerbaud Confectionery, Dr. Wolff highlighted the extreme importance of establishing a quality culture in the tourism sector, as a key factor in improving Hungary’s competitiveness on the international market.
By virtue of this award, the Corinthia Aquincum Hotel has the right to use and display the official logo of the Quality Award for three consecutive years. Dr. Iván Róna, Managing Director of Hungarian Tourism Ltd. explained that by receiving this honour of professional recognition, the Corinthia Acquincum Hotel also stands to gain from the exposure and special mentions given to the prize-winning hotels in all promotional materials and marketing campaigns produced by his Company.
